pk-china-user Chinese President Xi Jinping on Thursday extended his congratulations to Hakainde Hichilema on his re-election as president of Zambia.
In his congratulatory message, Xi noted that the two leaders have met twice in recent years and have jointly guided the development of China-Zambia relations.
He said that political mutual trust between the two countries has continued to strengthen, practical cooperation has yielded fruitful results, and China and Zambia have maintained close coordination and cooperation on multilateral affairs.
Xi emphasized that he attaches great importance to the development of China-Zambia relations and is willing to work with Hichilema to implement the outcomes of the Beijing Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation.
He also expressed his readiness to work with the Zambian leader to carry forward their traditional friendship, strengthen mutual support, and continuously enhance mutually beneficial cooperation, with the aim of elevating the China-Zambia comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership to new heights and bringing greater benefits to the peoples of both countries.
