GWADAR, Jan 20 (Gwadar Pro) – The University of Gwadar (UG) reached a significant academic milestone on Monday by conducting the entry test for its inaugural batch of MS in Management Sciences program. The event marks the institution’s formal expansion into postgraduate education and advanced research.
The test, organised by the university’s Graduate Studies Office (GSO), was conducted under strict examination protocols to ensure transparency and merit. University officials noted that all necessary arrangements were finalised in advance to provide a conducive environment for the candidates.
Since becoming a full-fledged autonomous public university in October 2021, UG has steadily expanded its academic footprint. It currently offers undergraduate degrees in Management Sciences, Computer Science, Economics, Education, English, and Marine Sciences—fields specifically chosen to equip the local youth with skills relevant to the region’s developing industrial landscape.
University officials revealed that following this successful rollout, plans are underway to introduce two additional postgraduate programs in the coming semesters to meet the growing demand for specialised leadership in the coastal belt.
