Pakistan, China launch 75th anniversary celebrations with award ceremony

Pakistan and China commemorated the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations with a vibrant award ceremony held in Karachi on Friday afternoon, highlighting the enduring strength of their “all-weather strategic cooperative partnership.”

The event, featuring the awards ceremony of a logo design competition organized to mark the milestone, was arranged by the Directorate General of the Liaison Office of Pakistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Karachi.

The ceremony showcased creative works reflecting the historic and multifaceted ties between Islamabad and Beijing.

Yang Yundong, Consul General of the People’s Republic of China in Karachi, attended as the chief guest and presented awards to the winners. Among them was third-prize recipient Nayab Zahra, whose design captured the depth and cultural richness of China-Pakistan friendship. Diplomats from Malaysia and Indonesia, along with senior Pakistani officials, were also in attendance.
