China and Pakistan Hold the Tenth Round of Consular Consultations

Director-General of the Department of Consular Affairs of the Foreign Ministry Long Zhou and Director General of the China Division of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan, Muhammad Tariq Wazir, co-chaired the tenth round of China–Pakistan consular consultations in Beijing.

The two sides held an in-depth exchange of views on strengthening consular cooperation, facilitating personnel exchanges, and protecting the safety as well as the legitimate rights and interests of citizens and institutions.

Both sides agreed to implement the important common understandings reached by the leaders of the two countries, to create safer and more convenient conditions for bilateral personnel exchanges and practical cooperation in various fields, and to continuously deepen and consolidate the China–Pakistan all-weather strategic cooperative partnership.
