The 11th China Qinghai International Ethnic Traditional Archery Elite Tournament concluded on July 23 in Gangcha County, Qinghai Province, bringing together nearly 1,000 archers from 88 teams representing nine countries. Among the international participants was Pakistan’s Crescent Archery Club (TCAC), which competed alongside teams from China, Bangladesh, Kyrgyzstan, Morocco, and several other countries.
The tournament was held under the guidance of the Chinese Archery Association and jointly organized by the Qinghai Provincial Sports Bureau, the People’s Government of Haibei Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, and the Qinghai Provincial Sports Federation.
The event featured competitions across eight categories, with participants ranging in age from 10 to 60, highlighting the inclusiveness and cultural significance of traditional archery while promoting international sports and cultural exchanges among participating countries.
