A new book compiling excerpts from speeches and writings by Xi Jinping, general secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, on fostering and applying a sound understanding of what constitutes strong performance has been released by the Central Party Literature Press.
Organized around seven major themes, the volume brings together 253 selected passages drawn from over 150 key documents — including reports, speeches, letters, instructions and directives — delivered or issued by Xi between November 2012 and January 2026. Several of the included excerpts are being made public for the first time.
According to the publisher, the collection holds important value in guiding CPC organizations and members to achieve results that prove effective in practice, earn recognition from the people, and endure over time.
