The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police delivered an impressive performance, defeating Afghan Club Chitral 5–1 in an exhibition football match held to mark the 75th anniversary of Pakistan-China friendship.
The match drew a large crowd of football enthusiasts, who waved the national flags of both Pakistan and China in celebration of the enduring bilateral relationship. Both teams, featuring several international players, showcased high-quality football, but the experience and coordination of the KP Police side led them to a dominant victory.
Speaking to the media, Muhammad Asif said that while celebrations of the 75th anniversary are taking place nationwide, Peshawar and the broader province of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have taken a leading role. He also acknowledged the efforts of China Window for organizing and promoting such initiatives to strengthen cultural and sports ties between the two countries.
